Technical Support Engineering Lead

We are growing and are looking for an experienced engineer. As the Technical Support Engineering Lead, you will help with on-site support, remote troubleshooting, and customer training (tutorials, webinars, on-site workshops). In addition to overseeing complex technical escalations, you will lead and coach a team of support engineers, ensuring our clients receive top-tier service and our internal processes continually improve.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site & Remote Technical Support

• Serve as the escalation point for complex hardware/software issues, including laser micromachining system integration.
• Provide on-site support to major clients for installations, upgrades, and hands-on problem resolution.
• Oversee remote troubleshooting sessions to quickly diagnose and resolve customer concerns.
• Organize tutorials, webinars, and on-site training sessions to help customers master DMC’s software and hardware components.

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor the Support Engineering team.
• Develop support workflows, troubleshooting processes, and training programs to maintain a high standard of customer care.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Liaise with R&D to stay updated on software releases, emerging features, and potential customer-impacting issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, and Documentation teams to ensure consistent, high-quality user experiences.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify trends or areas for process improvement.
• Oversee the creation and updating of internal knowledge base articles, guiding the Support Engineers and Technical Writer on key priorities.

Requirements:

• Technical Background – Degree in physics, engineering, or a related field; hands-on experience with laser processing or comparable technology is preferred.
• Leadership Potential – Experience working with technical teams, plus resolving complex customer issues.
• Advanced Troubleshooting Skills – Comfortable tackling intricate hardware/software integrations in real time.

Support Engineer and Technical Writer

In this hybrid position, you will split your time between first-level technical support, testing of DMC’s laser processing control solutions and creating user-friendly documentation. You will address routine inquiries and maintain resources that help prevent repetitive questions and misunderstandings.

Key Responsibilities

First-Level Customer Support

• Respond to incoming support requests via email, chat, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose routine hardware/software issues; escalate complex cases to colleagues.

Technical Writing & Documentation

• Produce and update user manuals, setup guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with developers and the Lead to translate complex processes into concise, user-friendly content.

Collaboration & Feedback

• Stay in sync with the Lead about product updates, hardware integrations, and best practices for troubleshooting.
• Gather customer feedback to refine documentation and improve DMC features.

Continuous Improvement

• Regularly review documentation to keep pace with new software features and evolving customer needs.
• Suggest workflow optimizations that enhance customer satisfaction or reduce support tickets.

Requirements

• Technical Foundation – education or experience in physics, engineering, or related fields is a plus.

Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Sales Engineer who will support our global customer base across the US, European, and Asian markets, helping us maintain strong relationships and continue our fast-paced growth.

In this role, you will be exposed to a wide variety of laser processing systems—from laser additive manufacturing to high-precision micromachining—and learn how to apply our software in real-world applications. DMC is a leader in its category, trusted by companies like Apple, NASA, and many innovative startups around the world.

You will learn about DMC’s laser machine control software, how it integrates with lasers, scanners, motion systems, and sensors, and how to translate technical needs into clear, actionable solutions for our clients. You’ll also get to practice in our in-house application lab equipped with a broad range of hardware to support your growth and understanding.

Senior Sales Engineer

We are seeking Experienced Sales Engineer or Business Development professional who will be responsible for building relationships with existing customers and partners and the creation of new long-term relationships in the US, European, and Asian markets, ensuring our continuous growth and great reputation.

In this position, you will learn a lot about different applications and laser processing systems (from laser additive manufacturing to high-end micromachining). You will need to learn about DMC laser machine control software, its capabilities, and how it can be used and integrated for various applications. To help with that, we have an application lab with a wide range of different hardware setups for testing and application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through identifying client‘s needs and finding solutions.

Software Engineer

We are seeking Software Engineers experienced in the C family of programming languages, primarily C#, to join our growing team. You’ll be part of various cutting-edge projects—from custom industrial machine HMI development and hardware implementation to complex algorithms for 2D/3D geometry and trajectory manipulation. You will have ample opportunities to learn and experiment, supported by our in-house application lab equipped with the latest laser and motion-control devices.

Key Focus Areas:

Depending on your interests and experience, you may contribute to:

• Hardware Implementation - incorporate positioning systems, lasers, cameras, sensors, and other devices into unified solutions.
• Algorithm Development - work on motion planning, geometry transformations, or specialized calculations (e.g., 4–6 axis kinematics).
• Industrial HMI Development (WPF/MVVM, Industry 4.0) - build intuitive interfaces and integrate with industrial protocols.
• 2D/3D Geometry & Trajectory Processing - manipulate objects, paths, and shapes for laser processing applications.
• Visualization with OpenGL - render 2D/3D graphics for part/trajectory display and real-time system feedback.
• Machine Vision - implement camera control, vision algorithms, and sensor fusion.
• Integrate "AI" solutions.
