At DMC, we develop laser machine control software that controls lasers, positioning systems, cameras, sensors, and more – across diverse applications. From 3D printing rockets to laser texturing race car bodies or controlling some part of the high end semicon process, our goal is to ensure each system runs as a fine tuned machine.

DMC is used in state-of-the-art laser 3D printers, automotive production lines, electronics manufacturing, semiconductor applications, and beyond. Software Engineer

We are seeking Software Engineers experienced in the C family of programming languages, primarily C#, to join our growing team. You’ll be part of various cutting-edge projects - from custom industrial machine HMI development and hardware implementation to complex algorithms for 2D/3D geometry and trajectory manipulation. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn and experiment, supported by our in-house application lab equipped with the latest laser, motion-control and a wide range of other devices.

Key Focus Areas

Depending on your interests and experience, you may contribute to:

• Hardware Implementation - incorporate positioning systems, lasers, cameras, sensors, and other devices into unified solutions.
• Algorithm Development - work on motion planning, geometry transformations, or specialized calculations (e.g., 4–6 axis kinematics).
• Industrial HMI and API Development (WPF/MVVM, Industry 4.0) - build intuitive interfaces and integrate with industrial protocols.
• 2D/3D Geometry & Trajectory Processing - manipulate objects, paths, and shapes for laser processing applications.
• Visualization with OpenGL - render 2D/3D graphics for part/trajectory display and real-time system feedback.
• Machine Vision - implement camera control, vision algorithms, and sensor fusion.
• Integrate "AI" solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Sales Engineer

To help us with the next phase of growth, we are seeking an Experienced Sales Engineer or Business Development professional who will be responsible for building relationships with existing customers and partners and the creation of new long-term relationships in the US, Europe, and Asia, ensuring our continuous growth and reputation.

In this position, you will learn a lot about different applications and laser processing systems (from laser additive manufacturing to high-end micromachining). DMC is a leader in its category, with a strong reputation, and our customers range from some of the world's largest companies and organizations to cutting-edge startups all over the world.

You will learn about DMC laser machine control software, its capabilities, and how it creates value and is integrated for various customer's applications. To help with that, we have an application lab with a wide range of different hardware setups for testing and application development.

This role involves working with markets across Asia (South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, China), the US and Europe - candidates from those regions are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers; identify client’s needs and find solutions.
• Analyze target customers and build their development plans. Create value propositions.
• Manage and analyze customers’ requirements.
• Work with customers through their projects solving various technical challenges and finding creative solutions.
• Attend tradeshows/visit clients abroad to represent the company and its products.
• Help to improve sales and related processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience working with high added value technical B2B sales.
• Technical knowledge in laser processing, physics, electronics, semicon, etc.
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
• You care about the customer.
• You are curious and enjoy learning.
• You like solving problems and thinking creatively.
• You have attention to details.
• You are showing initiative and can work independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload of multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
