Briefly about us

At DMC, we are developing laser machine control software. It needs to control a wide range of devices (lasers, positioning systems, cameras, sensors, etc.) for a wide range of applications (from 3D printing rockets to race car body laser texturing) so that a laser machine could work as a well-tuned engine.

DMC is used in state-of-the-art laser 3D printers, systems in automotive production, electronics, semicon and much more. Some of the biggest and most well-known world brands use DMC to control their laser processing systems. DMC product is the leader in its category, and we work with exciting projects and people all around the world.

We are growing rapidly and are looking to expand our team. If you would like to apply, please send your CV and motivation to [email protected].

Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer with experience in the C family of programming languages (we mainly work with C#).

We have a range of interesting projects for you to join. Be prepared to learn, as there will be many new things, especially in the beginning.

We have an application lab full of hardware, so you will get to work with the actual devices. We are often one of the first to get the newest technologies in this field for testing as we closely collaborate with the leading hardware manufacturers.

There are several areas where you could focus:

  • Hardware implementation: positioning systems, lasers, cameras, sensors, etc.
  • Algorithm development
  • Working with kinematics (4-6 axes motion) and such system control
  • Industrial HMI development (with WPF / Xamarin + MVVM would be helpful experience), Industry 4.0
  • 2D and 3D object and trajectory processing
  • Visualization with OpenGL
  • Machine vision algorithms and camera control

Required competencies:

  • Experience with the C family of programming languages, especially C#
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Caring about the customer and work quality
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • English is our second language
  • It will help if you enjoy tinkering with electronics/3D printing or are a fan of lasers/physics. Or if you are interested in high-tech industrial systems.

Other details:

  • This is a full-time job
  • Work conditions are flexible
  • Our office and the lab are in Vilnius, Mokslininku street 6B
  • If the project allows, you can work from home
  • Additional health insurance and all the gear are provided
  • Budget for learning

Technical Support Engineer

We are growing and are looking for a technical support engineer to help us help our customers solve system integration and application challenges.

In this position, you will learn a lot about different applications and laser processing systems (from laser additive manufacturing to micromachining and even high-power laser processing). DMC is a leader in its category, and our customers range from some of the world's largest organizations to cutting-edge startups all over the world.

You will need to learn to use DMC laser machine control software and work with laser micromachining systems, learn about all various components within those systems, and learn how they work and interact together. For that, we have an application lab with a wide range of different hardware setups for testing and application development.

For some projects, you might need to do installation/support on the customer site. On a daily basis, you will need to help solve customer technical challenges and help them learn how to work with DMC.

The main tasks will be:

  • Continually learn how to use DMC for laser processing applications. How to work with hardware, troubleshoot, configure, and set up laser processing systems
  • Support customers with any technical questions
  • Train customers to use the software and help them configure systems
  • Testing of new DMC functionality at our lab or customer site
  • Assist colleagues who are working with technical documentation, tutorials, etc.

Required competencies:

  • Have a technical background or physics/engineering degree
  • Ideally, have worked with laser processing systems before
  • You can express yourself clearly in written and spoken word
  • Very good English language skills
